Through leading innovations, we help farmers around the world meet the challenge of feeding a growing population and taking care of our planet. We are currently seeking a Technical Expert 1 in Greensboro, NC.

 

As a Technical Expert 1 in Syngenta’s Human Safety Risk Assessment Group, you will learn and contribute to the conduct of human safety risk assessments within North America Product Safety to support the maintenance, re-registration and development of crop protection products including chemical and/or seed care products for Syngenta. 

 

Accountabilities

    Provide regulatory and scientific contributions in human health risk assessments including dietary and non-dietary operator and residential risk assessments Provide support to manage a portfolio of registered active ingredients to maintain and expand product registrations, with a primary focus in North America. Prepare and present scientific and technical positions to key internal stakeholders to inform project and business decisions. Contribute input and observations towards identifying and solving technical issues working as a team player. Communicate work results, progress and challenges to peers and supervisor Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the regulatory guidance which governs human safety risk assessment


Requirements

    All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. The position requires a minimum knowledge of regulatory science and human safety risk assessment Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biological, chemical, public health, pharmacy or life sciences Indications of singular achievement as well as the ability to work in a high-functioning team is required Travel Requirements: some domestic and international travel required ≤ 5%
