HIRING MANAGER: Brian Constable
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under the direction of the Department Manager, generates service income in excess of direct costs through
performing repair service, new equipment installation, and selling equipment upgrades.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serves as a team lead to other crew members Performs new equipment installation and bin erection
Responds to customer requests for repair service for grain equipment, buildings and livestock equipment in a timely
professional manner
Performs equipment installation such as floors, fans, wall sheet replacement, unloaders, curtains, doors, livestock
equipment
Provides recommendations to customers to upgrade older, worn out equipment, or to replace improperly sized,
inadequate equipment In off peak seasons, conducts sales-service calls to uncover and close repair/upgrade
opportunities
Develops leads on major projects and turns over to the area sales person
Maintains tools and equipment in workable, safe condition, and protects against theft, loss, or abuse
Maintains vehicle with routinely scheduled service, washing, and cleaning to maintain a professional image Records
and maximizes billable hours, and bills service work once completed
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Identifies cost savings opportunities, and new approaches to generate more income
Represents the company at trade shows and company functions as requested
Participates in training schools and seminars to develop diagnostic and trade skills
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a High School diploma or equivalent and six months of related work experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid CDL driver's license, and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus,
decision making and skill development
Must be willing to work extended hours as business conditions warrant
Must be able to travel independently and
overnight
Frequently works in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Frequently works in noisy conditions
Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with
appropriate safety measures
Occasionally may be required to work at varying heights
Occasionally works in confined spaces
Frequently lifts 71-100 lbs
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and
procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
