Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with critical alliance partners
Develop creative competitive sourcing strategies to meet business requirements.
Evaluate and invite capable suppliers to participate in various bidding processes.
Develop supplier evaluation matrix criteria and conduct supplier assessments using purchasing matrix and financial modelling.
Award project to finalized supplier with business alignment,
Conduct and finalize terms and conditions of Manufacturing Supply Agreement with selected suppliers.
Drive internal cost and sourcing execution approval to put in place contract with suppliers, using internal multistep sourcing methodology and stage gate review approval process.
Maintain Industry knowledge, supplier relationship management and drive supplier improvement projects.
Supporting Roles:
Support the collection of market intelligence data on China suppliers landscape.
Work collaboratively with other global sourcing colleagues to share best practices and procurement process improvements.
Provide coaching and guidance to junior buyers
Preparation of Procurement reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, major in chemical engineering / chemistry or related.
Bachelor’s degree business administration is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years of sourcing experience preferably in the chemical industry and ability to travel as and when required, visiting suppliers to conduct suppliers’ evaluation and negotiation.
