YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, (Sr Supply Planner), are to:

 

  • Accountable for full year inventory positions of respective crop plans;
  • Enable timely shipping of quality products and minimize obsolescence;
  • Provide expertise to cross functional teams to develop, manage, and improve annual supply plans;
  • Enable shipping targets and achieve manufacturing efficiencies that are aligned with financial targets;
  • Maintain safe working operations through capacity constraints in production, warehousing, and docks;
  • Create production plans for manufacturing sites and track progress metrics against plans;
  • Manage contingency to achieve supply targets, quality specifications, and product volume variance;
  • Analyze inventory positions, quality considerations, and variable supply opportunities to enable customer commitments;
  • Execute non-commercial demand requests for export and plot seed requirements;
  • Build supply plans to balance the needs for domestic commercial demand;
  • Examine inventory health and sales by partnering with Demand Planning, Quality Assurance, and Finance;
  • Leverage business knowledge by improving existing processes with analytical analysis of data trends and industry factors.

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business or other related field;
  • Demonstrate computer skills and ability to learn new tools;
  • Strong communication skills and the power to influence others both verbally and written;
  • Excellent decision and problem-solving skills using data and analytics;
  • Ability to work and excel within a diverse team to achieve results.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Five years of experience in manufacturing or planning environment.
