Role Accountabilities
Leads recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers to understand their recruitment requirements and discuss the internal/external talent markets Partners with the hiring manager to agree upon ways of working and communication channels; frequency of cadence meetings and timeline to ensure expectations are aligned Develops the sourcing strategies for designated area of responsibility, using market knowledge and data analysis to inform these decisions; be flexible with altering strategies in order to achieve successful candidate slates & all-around best in class experience Partners with the hiring manager and HR business partner to write a high-impact, creative job adverts in line with corporate Syngenta branding, utilizing the company’s employee value propositions and any key functional messages which increases candidate attraction Works closely with the business to develop campaigns which supports pro-active or reactive recruitment initiatives Manages external recruitment agencies where needed and the continuous assessment of agency performance Manages end to end candidate management – sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview, offer and onboarding Manages and maintains the requisition/candidate workflow in a timely manner within the ATS Taleo to ensure data is accurate for reporting and HR administration hand off purposes Contributes to the achievement of individual and regional SLAs and KPIs, while always focusing on the ‘customer’ Ensures issues and escalation management processes is followed where necessary Works proactively with hiring managers to understand the medium- and long-term needs of the business outside day-to-day reactive requisition management. Collaborate with HRBP’s to anticipate future needs in relation to talent strategy, pipelining, and ensure the correct talent attraction strategies are in place. Participates in global, regional, or country level projects that enhances client experience and/or increase efficiency of the recruitment process / offering
Qualifications
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Prior experience with RPO, Agency recruitment leveraging technology resources to recruit Demonstrable experience as a recruitment / talent acquisition partner, ideally gained within a global, highly matrixed organization Demonstrable track record of recruiting in complex, narrow candidate markets across multiple geographies Demonstrates strong expertise in strategic sourcing methodology, candidate pipeline activities and search tools Experienced in selection, interviewing and assessment methods or tools Demonstrated project management experience Demonstrated experience performing successfully in a high-volume full recruitment lifecycle environment High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of recruiting best practices and well versed in various sourcing & recruiting methodologies Good knowledge of applicant tracking systems Taleo and other recruitment technologies eg CRM Knowledge of the agriculture / biotechnology markets desirable but not essential Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and reporting/analytic applications This position is remote but may require travel up to 15%. Position is required to be commutable to Downers Grove, IL, up to 35% travel, while embracing the FOW Future of Work
