Accountabilities • Work in conditioning, treating, packaging, or other areas to meet facility needs • Provide leadership and overall seed quality expertise to plant activities • Responsible for maintaining, documenting, and adherences to established plant procedures • Preform product quality assessments and adherence to product specifications • All seed picked and transported to specified area is identified accurately and checked against production order • Ensure all clean-downs and changeovers are done correctly to eliminate any product mixture • Support Agronomists in field related activities as directed • Pooling and distribution of parent seed to grower base • Perform other duties as required to meet plant or site needs
Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required • Ability and willingness to work OT as needed required • Must be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions • Must be forklift certified, or willing to obtain certification. On-Site Training provided • Individual must be authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Requirements • Experience working in Agriculture/Seed Industry preferred • Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related plant science preferred
