To support that challenge, the Production and Supply Team is currently seeking a Production Technician in Alva, FL. As a Production Technician you will be responsible for the management and integrity of data collection in your area

 

You will help shape the future of agriculture by:

    Supporting operational functions/processes Harvest in the field and the management of crews and crew leaders.

Accountabilities

    Managing a given area with approximately three crews during peak season Execution of daily and weekly harvest in your area Accountable for harvest and quality training Communication on crew’s performance compared to expectations Responsible for monitoring, coaching and encouraging the crews on performance Enforcement of systems, policies, and procedures in your area of responsibilities and advising managers on any necessary disciplinary actions Maintains workflow by monitoring resources/personnel in assigned area Scheduling management and communication Monitor harvest and crop maintenance progress; revision of schedules as required Maintain quality standards as required Maintains HSE standards/training


Requirements

    100% working outdoors under various weather conditions Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles Ability to walk in sandy soil Experience in the management of a large diverse workforce Must be fluent in Spanish and English All applicants must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be able to lift 50lbs Capable of working flexible/extended hours during peak season Experience with scanners and tablets is desirable Computer skills/ Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Access
