Through leading innovations, we help farmers around the world meet the challenge of feeding a growing population and taking care of our planet. We are currently seeking a Product Chemistry Specialist in Greensboro, NC.

 

This position will provide Product Chemistry regulatory support for new and existing product registrations. The primary initial accountability will be to assist in regulatory submissions, correspondence, documents, and reports to satisfy the US EPA, US state requirements and/or Canadian PMRA. This position will also support other team members with the development and implementation of regulatory documents based on national and international requirements.

 

Accountabilities

    Provide regulatory support for any assigned active ingredients, manufacturing-use and/or end-use products. Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions, correspondence, documents and reports to satisfy local and/or global regulatory requirements For assigned projects, determine timelines and studies necessary to fulfill product chemistry requirements and communicate requirements to scientists and regulatory colleagues Assure that all required reports to customers/authorities are submitted on time and accurately Using the applicable databases, accountable for the review, creation and/or maintenance of high-quality formulation GLP studies and regulatory documents that are needed for product registrations and life cycle management Assist senior team members with ongoing Product or Process Change Control requests/projects PPCR as needed for manufacturing issues, process change requests and/or sourcing needs Work as an effective team member on all projects to ensure that consistent standards are implemented, compliance is maintained or enhanced and that issues, challenges and opportunities are brought forth Maintain and develop personal capability and knowledge in areas of regulatory and technical expertise Comply with all departmental safety initiatives and policies. Strive continually to improve the operational excellence of the Product Chemistry team and overall departmental processes


Requirements

    Degree in chemistry or related scientific field Exceptional organizational and attention to detail/quality skills Good analytical thinking, problem solving and investigative skills A high proficiency in multi-tasking, project planning and time management Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in a culturally diverse setting which includes scientists and non-scientists Flexibility to change and adjust in an evolving regulatory landscape Ability to work well in a team environment but also manage workload in a self-directed manner

Preferred Requirements

    1-5 years industry experience Knowledge of EPA-FIFRA regulations and standards, knowledge of GLP guidelines and/or experience in preparing regulatory submissions
