Responsibilities:
Background in commercial, industrial and residential wiring capable of working with electricity from 12 to 480 volts, AC DC and all electrical control symptoms.
Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations.
Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLCs, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.
Update ARC Flash, prints/drawings, cabinets & breaker information as changes are being made
Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget.
Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced.
Ability to work with outside vendors/contractors when necessary
Work in other areas of plant when directed by immediate supervisor or by supervisor in charge
Ability to work overtime during busy season or when directed by supervisor
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
2 year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase.
Good electrical mechanical repair & trouble shooting skills.
Good communication skills.
Willingness & ability to work & function in a team environment.
Attention to detail & accuracy.
