Loyalty Strategy Lead - Crop Science 




The primary responsibilities of this role, Loyalty Strategy Lead, are to:


  • Implement loyalty scheme structure and strategy by branding and rules;
  • Establish market and financial targets to align with legal, risk and financial teams;
  • Manage the accruals (250 million EUR/yr) to enable program implementation, balance target goals with profitability, and seek a prominent customer experience;
  • Oversee multiple projects and priorities with a clear understanding of key profit and loss components;
  • Sustain existing reward initiatives and develop a timeline to integrate programs;
  • Build connections with the sales leadership team to assure alignment and prioritization;
  • Connect with dealers and seedsman strategy to bind all grower facing initiatives into a simple process;
  • Create processes to assure our interaction strategy aligns with each segment through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform;
  • Find opportunities to increase cross selling, up selling, and customer interaction;
  • Capture value on dealers and grower interactions by providing clear guidance for the Integrated Marketing Managers (IMMs);
  • Work closely with Digital Farming Solutions (DFS) to enable loyalty integration into FieldView;
  • Gamify the customer experience to enhance engagement, enable New Business Models (NBMs), and Carbon Implementation in a timely manner;
  • Structure the operational launch of Loyalty, redesign the process with IT, Integrated Marketing, Brand teams, and DFS;
  • Lead the prioritization of target customers to each sales region;
  • Connect opportunities in crop protection and seeds to inspire our sales and marketing team;
  • Create and enable value delivery to growers;
  • Develop a hub of partnerships to support business objectives and leverage external resources;
  • Innovate our marketing and sales team by targeting demand generation.




Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our life values, more specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:


Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field;
  • At least 10 years of business experience in relatable sales or marketing roles;
  • Experience in managing end to end marketing plans (strategy through tactics);
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
  • Understanding of key P and L components;
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills;
  • Exhibit the mastery of brand positioning, customer insight, and business plan development;
  • Proficient in competitive assessment and brand portfolio management;
  • Support team and problem solve issues as they occur;
  • Solid understanding and ability to use the marketing mix;
  • Influence activities of cross functional leadership teams;
  • Collaborate and work in a team environment;
  • Able to build a measurement system to track plan effectiveness and facilitate plan adjustments as needed;
  • Experience in strategic thinking with powerful execution.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Master’s of Business Administration.
