Syngenta Flowers takes the best in Vegetative cuttings and seed genetics through a first-class supply chain to bring quality flowers to global greenhouse growers. To support that challenge, the Syngenta Flowers team is currently seeking a Logistics Clerk to be a part of the Logistics and Transportation team. This is an entry level position with a large learning scope in transportation and global logistics. You will help shape the future of agriculture by: • Quality and Analysis: Managing Temperature Recorders and information for reports to QC and Logistics team. • Program supply: Ensuring supply of temp recorders to farms Alva, FL, Mexico, Guatemala, Kenya, and Ethiopia. • Customs documentation: Assisting with shipment documentation, tracking, alerts, and reporting. • Logistics administration and execution: Supporting in delivering routing schedules and documentation • Helping to grow with new ideas and implement strategies to be the best supplier of flower genetics in North America.
Accountabilities • Team player: Provide support to all logistics functions, focus on backing up Logistics Analyst duties. We are a lean organization with value on individuals as the strength of the team. • Time Management: Prioritize workload and ensure timely delivery of product to meet customer orders. • Data Entry and data integrity: Utilization of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for analytical use, date entry, etc. • Analysis: Spreadsheet analysis of temperature recorders weekly. • Functional Support: Assist Customer Service with any and all requests in a timely manner for Track/Trace and all changes made to customer addresses. • Daily updates on tracking numbers FedEx, UPS, etc. • Daily updates on shipment’s movement. • Customer Support: Assisting with delivering routing information to external parties • Track and Trace: Fill in shipment volume tracking spreadsheet weekly. • Support and interface with other departments as required maintaining good working relationships and open communication. • Collaborative workplace: Effectively communicate with leadership and colleagues to collaborate and assess all working activities. • ERP SAP learning: Execute Post Goods Invoicing • Other duties may be required as determined by the Logistics Manager.
Requirements • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Associates Degree. • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Suite experience. • Shipping management experience preferred. • Analytical experience preferred. • Logistical experience preferred ex. supply chain • Bilingual Preferred • Individual must be authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
