Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic, and transformational IT Supply Chain Solution Architect. The Solution Architect is responsible for sustaining, innovating, and improving technologies to enable the Supply Chain Planning process and its ability to deliver business objectives for Corteva. 

The SC Planning Solution Architect (SA) has deep expertise in SAP IBP and SAP S/4 or other advanced planning systems to support digital supply chain planning and execution. The SA will work in a project team-based environment to understand and break-down business requirements into tasks and projects to support enterprise-level and global solutions. In addition to driving enhancements, the SA provides leadership and guidance to the IT Run and Maintain teams with diagnosis and problem solving of production issues, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow

  • Ability to ideate and build proof of concepts in test areas to ensure validity of solutions and stable deployment. Includes new released functionalities via upgrades to assess, test, and integrate into existing solution.
  • Through collaboration with the Business Process Experts (BPE) monitors the performance of the technologies ability to support the business.
  • Regularly identifies and evaluates IBP upgrades and opportunities to improve current business planning solutions with enhanced technologies and integrate into standard methodology and best practices.
  • Works to improve plan quality as an output of the supply optimizer through the tuning of key parameters and an understanding of how the business managed master data contributes to the optimizer performance.
  • Supports teams and users in the understanding of optimizer results.
  • Responsible for supporting continuous improvement of IBP run-times and ensuring users globally do not experience excessive latency using IBP.
  • Liaison with SAP and/or Solution Advisors for issue resolution / improvements.
  • Plan and execute complex projects with a high level of quality, efficiency, and reliability while meeting deadlines and staying on budget.
  • Exhibits technical leadership by managing technical roadmap for the team and product.
  • Regularly improve products, both technically and through processes, and consistently influence peers to deliver exceptional results. Mentor others on how to properly scope projects.
  • Foster an environment where productivity, quality, and collaboration are pillars to the effectiveness of the Business Planning team.

Qualifications


Requirements – What you'll bring to the table

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, engineering or related field.
  • Overall 10+ years of experience with at least 6-8 years of relevant experience with functional configuration in one or more of the following SAP technologies: IBP, SCM, S/4 or ECC, with minimum 2 years of IBP experience.
  • Experience with IBP Order Based Planning Area, highly preferred.
  • Expert in building specification documents following standard SAP methodologies.
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP IBP, APO (DP/SNP/GATP/PPDS) or similar advanced planning systems.
  • Experience in Supply planning solution implementation.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills

Technical Competencies

  • Comprehensive Supply Chain, Financial, operations research education or experience.
  • Experience in IBP Supply planning solution implementation.
  • Experience of optimizer cost modeling to achieve desired results.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP applications and the supported business processes.
  • Ability to learn and upskill on new technologies, processes and applications.
  • Experience working with Vendors, product roadmaps and support lifecycles.
  • Detailed understanding of Supply Chain processes.
  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of the base Elements for supply planning.
    • Customer, Vendor, Plant, Material, Transportation, Manufacturing.
  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Demand Planning.
    • Segmentation, Forecasting, Statistical Modeling.
  • Understanding, experience in, or configuration of Supply Planning.
    • Master Production Scheduling, Aggregate Planning, RCCP, MRP, and DRP.
  • Experience / configuration of interfaces of the planning system to the ERP system.
    • Planning elements to the ERP system for execution.
    • Actual/Historical elements from the ERP system

  • Project personal maturity and tact to effectively work with cross-functional team members to deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills in English.
