Syngenta Agro GmbH is looking for an HR Operations Manager (m/f/d)  at the Frankfurt location as part of succession planning


Role description:

In addition to HR Business Partnering and the Centers of Excellence, HR Operations is the third pillar of Syngenta HR work. Together with the HR operations team, the job holder ensures a modern, benchmark-capable and entrepreneurially oriented HR service structure, so that a contribution is made to the company's success. Ensuring excellent HR services for employees and working together with various strategic partners and service providers in the HR area is of significant relevance.

 

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for operational HR work for the countries Germany and Austria, including personnel responsibility for three local HR specialists
  • Contact for complex employee inquiries via a ticket system, including checking for tax, collective bargaining or labor law relevance
  • Control of the external shared service center in Kraków, including ensuring a continuously excellent HR service for all employee inquiries and control of the key figures
  •  Initiation of escalations and derivation of measures from the HR key figures
  •  Specification, implementation and control of compliance with HR processes with a focus on HR administration, payroll, BAV & time recording on a local and regional basis as well as issuing approvals for deviations from processes
  •  Contact person for internal and external reviews (audits) in HR Area and ensuring compliance of HR work
  •  First contact for and constructive cooperation with service providers in the HR area (including for payroll, time recording and company pension schemes)
  •  Responsibility for cost centers, implementation of data from service providers in the Systems and release of invoices for the operational HR area
  • First contact person in the country for the annual bonus round
  •  Ensuring the perfect functionality of the HR systems in cooperation with the technical service
  •  Contact person in HR for data security
  •  Ongoing assumption of project responsibility, e.g. B. Implementation of workflows for electronic certificates of incapacity for work or introduction of new HR tools

 

Qualifications
What we expect from you:

  •  Studies in the commercial, social sciences or preferably in the technical / scientific field
  •  Relevant professional experience in HR, especially knowledge of payroll and company pension schemes are a must
  •  Experience and pleasure in process and service provider management are a must
  •  Fluent German and English skills are required a must
  • In-depth knowledge of social security and income tax law is desirable
  • Leadership experience in a matrix organization and a strong hands-on mentality
  • Experience in dealing with HR systems (HR IS, time recording, payroll accounting) is desirable
  • High customer and service orientation
  • High Ability to work in a team at local and international level
