To support that challenge, Syngenta’s Product Marketing team is currently seeking a Herbicide Technical Product Lead in Greensboro, NC.
Accountabilities
Thoroughly profile active ingredients and brands for utility and competitive advantages Provide brand training and/or materials for training to internal/external customers Provide Brand Management support through designing brands that have technical integrity in performance, positioning and sustainability Set active ingredients / brand development priorities and manage development budget and projects for timely delivery Work with Product Market Leads to ensure best positioning, messaging and approach with each brand Technically steward brands across life cycle Develop protocols and scientific studies for thorough profiling of brands, product segmentation, and competitive comparisons Develop training materials for internal/external customers Act as global interface for exchange of technical information and strategies Ensure all brand strategies, business cases, positioning, claims, labels, and communications are supported by good science Provide technical guidance, support, and evaluation of 3rd party Active Ingredients Provide technical guidance and determine technical options for post patent strategies Maintain up-to-date understanding of leading technologies with scientific discipline & participate in scientific societies Ensure product labels are up to date and correctly support the use of the product
Requirements
A minimum of a Masters degree in Agronomy or relevant principle with at least 5 years of experience in product development Knowledge and/or experience in agronomics, plant sciences or biotechnology Up to 30% travel is required for this position All applicants must be able to work in the US without sponsorship from Syngenta
Preferred Requirements
PhD degree is highly preferred Knowledge of weed science Understanding of key agronomic factors in field crops, especially corn, cereals, cotton and soybeans Knowledge of product development process, protocol writing, information systems, and regulatory requirements
