We are currently seeking a Global Pricing Manager for the Vegetable Seeds team located in Downers Grove, Illinois, or surrounding areas. As a Global Pricing Manger, you will develop and implement pricing governance, processes, policies, and tools to ensure pricing excellence and enhanced profitability, establish price change management processes, with scenario analyses to evaluate and optimize Gross Profit and Earnings margins for Syngenta.
You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by: • Developing and formulating pricing strategies to drive profitable growth • Building and communicating pricing reports to inform high level strategy decisions • Working with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure execution of that strategy Accountabilities • Create pricing principles including Price Minimum and practices in view of regions, portfolio, and customer segments • Analysis of margins by product family, regional, and customer segments to support decision making in partnership with Finance • Actively support the development of the Pricing Syngenta Vegetable Seeds framework by contributing to tool development, contributions of best practices, and general material enhancement • Contribute to overall pricing best practices of Vegetable Seeds via trainings and presentations to the broader Vegetable Seeds community Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Support Functions • Design strategies for comprehensive, proactive pricing actions to secure profitability during inflationary environment
Requirements • 7+ years’ of experience as Pricing Manager or consultant in the pricing area in previous positions • Demonstrated experience in pricing performance implementation and delivery • Extensive expertise in complex pricing setup, Excel modeling, and insightful analysis to drive value and revenues • Strong knowledge of Information Systems and Finance aspects relevant to pricing to optimize information flow and to connect systems new and existing pricing processes • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or Economics
