Forklift Operator - High Stack - Warehouse

Seneca Foods in Clyman, Wisconsin is currently seeking a Forklift Operator - High Stack to join our team. Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more! Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gas/electric forklifts to and from various departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to stack and unstack pallets of products in rowns up to 5 high.
  • Unload, load, transfer and stack finished goods and supplies from trucks, etc.
  • Interprets shipping order or receiving report to determine item to be (un)loaded.
  • Checks product quality and proper shipping information.
  • Track, input, change, and update data of inventory.
  • Monitors and enforces company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains general housekeeping
  • Monitor warehouse rows for straightness and leaning.
  • Complete all required documentation and verify counts on goods received and shipped.
  • Daily inspection of vehicle before operating, corrects any low fluid levels.
  • Complies with proper weight distribution on rail cars and trucks.
  • Other duties as required and assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Requires to have good written and communication skills.
  • Requires between three (3) months and one (1) year of experience.
  • Requires a minimum of a High School Education or equivalent.
  • Position requires a Company Certification to operate a forklift or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to write and read English.
