Corteva Agriscience, a leading American global agriscience company with over 20,000 team members and a presence in 130 countries, is looking for a passionate information technologist open to new challenges as EMEA IT Solutions Architect

Your Challenge:

• Owns IT architecture of all regional IT solutions (build and maintain portfolios) including cross-system integrations with global systems
• As a member of EMEA IT leadership team facilitates regional technology discussion and decision making
• Finds the best technical solution among all possible to solve business problems
• Works closely with the company’s global architects to optimize regional technology choices
• Influences company’s global architects on their technology choices and roadmaps for global IT products
• Maintains consistency of architectural principles across systems and applications
• Navigates software engineers and support teams within chosen technologies
• Champions improvements of architecture, engineering, and technical practices 
• Escalates issues and resolves organizational or technical problems as needed
• Participates in enterprise architecture community for solution review and guidance
• Engages with teams and vendors on solution evaluations (SaaS and non-SaaS) and purchase recommendations

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Bachelor, Engineer or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 
• 10+ years of IT and business experience with increasing levels of leadership responsibility 
• Modern languages software engineer background
• Deep knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS, SalesForce) and hybrid cloud solutions 
• 3+ working experience as a lead technologist in complex business and technology environments providing governance to several developer teams  
• Excellent knowledge of engineering best practices, DevOps
• Experience to work in multinational companies with people from diversified cultures and background inside and outside of Europe 
• Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written including presenting 
• Confident in influencing and setting architectural goals
• Proven track record of delivering high impact business solutions
