You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by:
Providing reliable, high quality customer service to an assigned client base of Syngenta retail and grower customers by establishing strong, trusting relationships and managing product order process from initiation through fulfilment.
Accountabilities
Responsible for establishing and maintaining solid relationships with assigned client base Supply timely responses regarding product, pricing and program information; Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all order management and fulfillment transactions Anticipates customer needs based on sound understanding of their business and current market and environmental dynamics and develops approaches that maximize business opportunities; proactively finds new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts. Identifies and initiates necessary action to resolve issues between customer requirements and Syngenta’s ability to fulfill those requirements; Proactively communicates and/or escalates any product or order fulfilment issues and proposed resolutions to all affected stakeholders Collaborates with key commercial stakeholders in support of overall sales and customer retention goals Communicates with Production and Supply stakeholders as required with respect to supply and demand and/or inventory issues Independently visits customers and attends field/sales meetings as required. Build trust and strong relationships with top tier customers. Interact with various management levels, including senior staff. Work with others to identify Centers of Influence COI and develop plans to strengthen relationships. Handle conflict independently and identify appropriate resolution. Ensures policy and procedure compliance at the operational level. Proactively solicits and uses coaching from others for self-improvement. Train others on team in programs and processes. Exemplifies best practices and takes initiative to share ideas and suggestions with broader team Actively utilizes the strength of the team to meet order requirements and develop in-bound & out-bound customer relationships. Identifies business opportunities and develops and implements required tactics. Leads by example - Interpersonal awareness, positive attitude. Assumes responsibility for and represents management role on business teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline commerce, agriculture, science highly preferred High School Diploma or GED required Must be fluent in Spanish. General understanding of Agriculture as it relates to Crop Protection, Seeds, and/or Farming practices General understanding of business processes related to order fulfilment materials planning/inventory management/logistics and supply chain processes Advanced knowledge of SAP system Experience in a role that required strong customer service including organization and management of multiple competing priorities under tight time constraints Individual must be authorized to work in the United States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
