Business Insights Project Manager 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Insights Project Manager are to:

 

  • Lead Project Management activities and process governance of key projects for North America Business Insights;
  • Collaborate with customers, Business Insights (BI) Engineers and BI Team Leads to develop project plans;
  • Manage key projects with adjustments as necessary;
  • Partner with IT (Information Technology) teams responsible for Data Warehousing projects which supply data to the BI team;
  • Coordinate BI Team requirements and timelines with Data Warehousing timeline and scope deliverables;
  • Maintain and oversees the NA BI workflow system which contains the overall portfolio of NA BI deliverables;
  • Oversee the work intake process to ensure proper and complete information is collected;
  • Manage deliverable prioritization process;
  • Ensure appropriate adjustments are made to resources, timelines, and scope to optimize solution delivery;
  • Develop and implement accurate, consistent, and secure data sets supporting key Business Insights Team internal metrics;
  • Leverage baseline understanding of defined BI team’s internal metrics to develop and manage tracking mechanisms;
  • Provide regular reporting on key BI metrics;
  • Partner with Change Manager to develop and deliver change management plans for ongoing work and large projects.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree with at least five years of relevant experience;
  • Experience with project management tracking tools;
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management;
  • Strong strategic mindset, ability to build trust and influence skills;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Certification in project management.
