Automation Engineer Co-op

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Automation Co-op are to: 

• Lead optimization and automation projects;
• Support standard program roll outs;
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Identify and improve operating procedures;
• Assist in programming, scoping and supporting IT projects;
•  Support MITS (Manufacturing Information Security) remediation for NA Row Crops.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing at least a bachelor's degree;
• Ability to commit to a seven-month co-op (mid May-Dec.);
• Demonstrates ability to manage a deadline while being able to focus on details;
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to organize (thoughts, data, etc);
• Knowledgeable in computer systems;
• Control system hardware including instrumentation PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) equipment;
• Demonstrates leadership ability.
