Associate Systems Analyst 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Systems Analyst , are to:   

• Serve as a member of the Operational Technology and Support team to provide support for the technical IT Systems at multiple production and mining facilities;
• Develop and maintain application software, specialized programs, and hardware systems;
• Drive and support innovated cutting edge technologies appropriate for the business;
• Adhere to the company standards for software and hardware platforms to guide stakeholders on policies and best practices;
• Install, maintain, and upgrade technology systems;
• Manage vendors and contractors to implement technology and projects responsibly to ensure safety;
• Maintain current knowledge of technologies and technological developments;
• Supervise security of internal infrastructure through firewall configuration, antivirus deployment, identity, maintenance, along with group policy object, access and patch managements;
• Develop and provide training to employees on operation of upgraded or newly installed systems;
• Drive continuous improvement through implementation, configuration and optimization of technology solutions;
• Be responsible for documentation of solutions, including user manuals, reference guides, and interface documents including site Business Continuity Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, and other policies and procedures related to site operations;
• Extend and maintain site-specific and Bayer-standard network infrastructure and technologies in new construction projects.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline or Associates degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent discipline and a minimum of four years relevant experience in IT administration, database application development and support;
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills among peers and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Professional level certifications in IT operation, administration, cybersecurity, project management, and networking (i.e. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, ISC2, PMI);
• Experience with C#, .Net, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, Database design (Oracle and SQL), PowerShell, JavaScript, AWS, and SharePoint SQL Stored Procedure / SQL Scripting developer under MS, SQL Server.
