Agronomic Support Digital Ops Mgr 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Agronomic Support Digital Ops Mgr, are to:

 

  • Work closely with Agronomic Digital Strategy Lead and Customer Experience Design manager to map out a new series of interactions to improve the agronomic experience;
  • Develop and execute an operational project plan to deliver digital product information and recommendations to growers, partners or employees and enable the development of advanced analytic building blocks;
  • Leverage Agile development principles to build and deliver agronomic experience project plans;
  • Provide operational support to bring deliver a digital agronomic/product recommendations model;
  • Collaborate with digital product owners, marketing teams and field teams to execute recommendations and other agronomic experience deliverables;
  • Drive internal consensus on agronomic experience execution and launch through grower and dealer digital platforms;
  • Able to manage change management initiatives to deliver go-to-market agronomic support vision, build initiatives and deploy through the organization in partnership;
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across people, processes and technology that impact agronomic experience;
  • Identify related initiatives in progress, engage / enroll their support, explore possible intersections and opportunities to collaborate;
  • Understand current and future technology tools and platforms needed to deliver recommendations and other agronomic experience deliverables;
  • Engage in the development of the business case for investment including capital funding working collaboratively with finance, IT, and others;
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracks, reports project milestones and convenes stakeholders to move initiatives forward;
  • Build tracking/dashboard mechanisms and report progress to agronomy experience track leads, NALT sponsors and other relevant leaders.

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, agriculture, information technology plus 10 years of experience in Market Development, Marketing, Sales, IT, Finance, or related areas;
  • Project management experience: ability to build, activate and deliver on project plans from ideation through execution;
  • Excellent collaborator, actively seeks input from others, ability to bring people together to work towards a project, meet deadlines, achieve results;
  • In-depth Bayer organization understanding and ability to navigate to achieve results;
  • Experience with BCS tools, systems and processes and possesses a strong desire to collaborate & engage with IT;
  • Strong communicator who can simplify objectives, deliverables, and operational plans.

  • Prior experience working and leading in a cross-functional role;
  • Open-minded, inclusive creative thinker;
  • Strong customer focus and strategic mindset;
  • Understands digital platforms and data management;
  • Results oriented, knows what needs to be done, focuses resources on priorities to deliver results with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
