Job Description
Our Territory Representatives interact face to face with our customers, understand their needs and consult to offer the right solutions. We work collaboratively in Field Sales Teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer centric business model.
Account Manager, Companion Animals
Territory: Toronto GTA/East/Oshawa/Scarborough/Markham/Whitby/Peterborough/Durham Region
Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, Central Ontario - Companion Animal Business Unit, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving the annual sales and business objectives within their territory by coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of the Territory Tactical Plans, ensuring alignment with Regional and National Business unit objectives.
The Account Manager is responsible for understanding the customer needs and communicating accurate and complete product information through on-going calls on targeted companion animal veterinarians with the goal of increasing sales and market penetration in the territory. This also includes conducting Continuing Education meetings, attending product and sales training, and participating in conferences and conventions.
The Account Manager identifies networks and develops strong working relationships with key customers including Key Opinion Leaders, Community advocacy within their geography. The Account Manager will complete their tasks in a manner fully consistent with our company's commitment to our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations.
The Account Manager optimizes business potential in the territory through effective analysis, planning, implementation and organization of work. The Account Manager manages territory data through CRM and / or other relevant territory management tools. There are other administrative duties which include weekly reports, expense reports and requests from clients.
The incumbent has the obligation to report Product Quality Complaints as per applicable processes.
